Players take on the role of a zookeeper who must capture only nonpoisonous butterflies. It becomes more difficult to avoid the poisonous ones and capture the mimics as the levels progress. Players lose points for every poisonous butterfly caught (false alarm).

In this six level game, players explore the concept of Batesian Mimicry in an active manner with immediate feedback. The game engages strategy, pattern matching skills, and introduces terms associated with natural selection. Via short videos, the game highlights that many generations must come and go for populations of species to begin to show different traits. The scaffolded pedagogy helps learners understand population dynamics. Immediate performance feedback is given within and between levels.
