6-Degree-of-Freedom (6DoF), or "Volumetric Video", is an emerging technology for capturing actual 3D spaces in photos and video. Pseudoscience 6DoF Viewer is the only app that allows you to load your own equirectangular 360° photos and videos with depth maps, and move around INSIDE of them!
Use the GearVR or Oculus Go controller to move around in 6DoF, or if you have a GearVR, use Google ARCore for real positional tracking!
- Look at photos and videos in 6DoF!
- Real-time lighting!
- Google ARCore support for real positional tracking!
- NoloVR positional tracking coming soon (hopefully!)
To load your own photos and videos, just put them in the "6DoF" folder the main Internal Storage directory of your Android device.
Head over to reddit.com/r/6DoF to download 6DoF videos, and to find out how to make your own!
"Access to Photos, Media, and Files" required to load user content.
"Take Pictures and Record Video" required for ARCore support.
