Feel The Hillclimb at Goodwood Festival of Speed (Android)

Be part of a world-first, where the emotions of professional racers were measured at the hallowed Goodwood Festival of Speed. Ride alongside a Porsche racing driver as they take on the infamous Hillclimb track. See the real-time emotion of the driver, measured using biometric sensors and empathic AI tech from Sensum (sensum.co).

Ride in the passenger seat of a Porsche GT2 RS or a GT3 RS Cup, choosing between two of their top drivers – Mark Higgins or Esmee Hawkey. Sensum created a custom algorithm to translate data from the drivers’ bodies into a measure of how ‘Ice Cool’ or ‘Wild’ their response to the track was.

A partnership between Goodwood Festival of Speed Future Lab, Sensum and Porsche, this experience celebrates 25 years of the festival and 70 years since Porsche’s first car. This is a preview of the ‘empathic’ technology that is coming to automotive tech, measuring occupants’ emotions to provide a wide range of safety, comfort and entertainment benefits.
