    New language support
We’ve added support across core software, including Dash, Oculus desktop app and Oculus Home, for the following languages: Danish, Finnish, Dutch, Swedish, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin American), Italian, Norwegian, and Polish.
You can change your language in the Oculus desktop app with the “Language Preference” option in the “General” tab on the “Settings” page.
    Oculus desktop app
We’re starting to test personalized app recommendations on your Home Page.
We’ve added per-application language pack support for developers. As developers start to use this feature, you’ll see what languages are available for each application and set your specific language pack via the app’s Library detail panel.
    Rift Core 2.0 Beta
We’ve upgraded the Oculus Avatars with new custom hair, skin shading, clothing, and eyewear designs. You can customize your avatar from within Home: select the “Avatar Editor” mirror from the “Special Items” category and place anywhere in your Home.
Developers who upgrade to the latest Avatar SDK will be able to utilize these new avatars in their apps.

    Dash
We added a bunch of new design updates for improved panel navigation, management, as well as a more consistent visual treatment.
Experiments Panel: A new experiments panel has been added to the Settings menu. From here you can try new features and product experiments (all features here are subject to change):
Wrist Watch: once enabled, your left wrist will display the time when Dash is up. If you pin the watch, it will display on your wrist in Home and in all apps.
Pullout Panels: Press A + Grip and pullout individual app windows from Oculus Desktop and place them anywhere.
Remove Panel Footer: this setting removes the visual controls (chrome) on all Dash panels.
Long Press: Sets the Oculus Button to a long press to avoid accidental presses.
    Oculus Home
Improved graphics card support for panel streaming: The ability to stream your desktop content directly to displays in your Home is now supported across additional graphics cards.
Summer Furniture : A new collection of 10 assets that fit a tropical summer theme. Objects include:
    Lustrous Palm
    Beach Read
    Florence the Flamingo
    Summertime Recliner
    Summertime Umbrella
    Surfboard
    One Swan-a-Swimming Floatie
    Buddy Bear Floatie
    Sidewinding Serpent Floatie
    Shabby Sharkhead
Tutorial Improvements: Tutorials for new users should now be easier to manage with the addition of lessons in your Home settings menu. In the Interface section of settings, each section of Home tutorials is available to start individually, giving you quick access to the information you need. In addition, you can now dismiss an individual tutorial at any point in the process.
    Oculus Desktop App
Improvements to Unknown Sources: The ability to bulk import applications, as well as re-add previously removed applications via your Library.

Right click taskbar > task manager > services tab > find OVRService (Oculus VR Runtime Service) > right click > Start > Then try opening Oculus Client again

    Changes:

    HOME:
Custom Home Support: You now have the ability to import your own Home geometry as a replacement for the standard “cabin” geometry. Just like importing your own custom items, you can place a .glb file in your My Imports\Custom Homes folder and use that object as a template for brand new Homes! We've also implemented new ambient audio tracks to apply to your custom Homes, as well as a lighting panel to adjust the interior and exterior lighting (depending on which types your space implements). Full documentation of this feature is coming soon.

    DASH:
Various performance improvements and bug fixes.

If you encounter any issues with this PTC software release, please be sure to report them using the Help Center > Provide Feedback option within the Oculus desktop software. If you have any feature or enhancement requests, please leave those on our UserVoice page. Thanks!

    Hola foreros.

    Gracias. Un saludo.

Expressive Avatars Update: Avatars have been updated to simulate eye and mouth movement, making a simple conversation feel more dynamic. And with new outfits and customization options like eye color and lipstick, spending time with others in VR will feel more personal and authentic.
